While the lumen output of this light is similar to the Surefire M600DF light head, the throw is over three times greater than the throw of the M600DF. This light is a huge improvement over the PLHv1 light. The lumen output is about the same, but the throw is greatly improved. This is the best balance of flood and throw available.
