"I picked up the YSS 2 MOA Manual Control Red Dot Sight for a budget AR build, and after a few range trips, I’d call it a decent value for the price. The RMR footprint made mounting straightforward, and the Picatinny adapter included helped with fit on my rail. Build quality feels solid enough for the money – the aluminum housing isn’t top-tier but doesn’t rattle. The 2 MOA dot is crisp during the day, and the 22mm lens does help in lower light, though I noticed some reflection issues in direct sun. Adjusting brightness manually works fine, but the knob is a bit stiff. Parallax-free claim mostly holds true, but there’s slight shift at extreme angles. On a rifle it holds zero okay, but on my 12-gauge shotgun it lost zero after a dozen slugs. For a pistol or .22 plinker it’s fine, but don’t expect rugged duty use. Battery life is average. Overall, it’s a functional entry-level red dot that works for range fun, but not something I’d trust for serious applications. Three stars – okay for the price, but you get what you pay for."
