"I picked up the Canis Latrans 2.5-10X26Q combo for my deer rifle, and overall it’s a solid value for the price. The glass is clear enough for wooded terrain, and the adjustable objective does a decent job killing parallax from 50 to 400 meters—I noticed a real difference at the range. The integrated red dot rail is a nice touch for quick follow-ups on close targets, though the red dot itself feels a little cheap and the dot isn’t as crisp as a dedicated micro sight. "I really wanted to like the YSS J-ARM headset helmet adapter, but it’s been a letdown for the price. The build quality feels fine—that aerospace aluminum is sturdy and the anodized finish seems durable. However, the J-arm design has a lot of play when attached to my G24 mount, causing my PVS-14 to drift out of alignment during movement. For a piece that claims to handle recoil, it’s surprisingly loose, and the adjustment detents aren’t crisp.
